Movie Mélange
I finally started painting my office, completing the stripes on this wall first because I was mad eager to get this picture collage up and running! Once I began painting and framing (yuppers, I totally painted every frame) it dawned on me that I had a movie theme going on here. I'm sorta guilty of having the attention span of a fish (it really depends on what I'm watching), hence the ongoing joke that I've only seen (and remembered) like five movies in my lifetime, well here's proof that's not true, I count six! To be continued....

Budget Bulletin
Remember my itch from last week? Well, here's my final rendition. I've got to be totally honest and say that I like mine way mas, I can not wait to hang her up!
I used plenty of painters tape and white spray paint, make sure to be patient and let it dry completely before removing the tape! I already had the necessary components to produce this, the only thing I actually paid for was the 11-foot piece of window molding ($12) that I made the frame out of. Boom.

Nautical Notion
Friday night's impulse came. out. amazing.
I've had this idea in my noggin for awhile, (sorry there Pinterest, I own this one!) when we bought our house I noticed the coordinates in the paperwork a few times and thought it would be kinda cool to somehow display them in our new home. Months have passed and still no fun ideas had brewed. I absolutely made note of the more modern nautical trend that's currently happening, I'm so in love with the rope (you should see the lamps at Pottery Barn) and knots I keep seeing everywhere. While in Lowe's the other night I passed a bunch of rope and THAT's when it came to me, I still can't believe I tied those knots myself! All in all I spent $15 and my project is glorious, it looks perfect in our family room! Go ahead, copy on, you know you wanna.
Itching Inspiration
Here's the inspiration behind something I'm currently working on, shout out to Mariam for pinning this! I'll post my rendition in it's final stage next weekend, stay tuned! This project has now motivated me to finally finish painting my office.

Vintage Ventana
After searching for antique windows for months, I scored huge last week when I found a woman about forty minutes away with countless windows. The best part was that she only wanted $10 for each one! I wasn't positive of where I was going with these, but I knew I had to go get them.
That night, I remembered at some point I'd printed out the lyrics to "our song" and now I know why I never followed through with the purchase of those six frames, this project was meant to be. I can't stand how amazing this turned out, I walk by and glance multiple times a day as it hangs in our master.
Here's the actual picture from the listing I saw on Craiglist, they were so calling me.
Vivacious Veggies
Recently I picked up a basil plant to smell while at Lowe's, little did I know that my two second sniff would spontaneously release my inner Martha. One plant turned into six, hence my overpopulated new garden. This is literally my first attempt at veggies, from left to right: Basil, Banana Peppers, Yellow Bell Peppers, Mini Bell Peppers, Cucumbers, and Cherry Tomatoes.
It's been three weeks exactly and there has already been massive growth. Each plant has gained at least four inches while the tomato plant has totally quadrupled in size. The stalks have all become more sturdy and little fuzzy hairs are starting to show up, it won't be long now!
Here you can see hairs on the tomato plant and the little flowers starting to bloom, that means my tomatoes are on the way, about four more weeks to go, fingers crossed!
